Overall music sales in Sweden in 2012 showed an increase of 14 percent, from just over SEK 829 million in sales in 2011 to over SEK 943 million in 2012, according to the Swedish Recording Industry Association (GLF).
Digital sales continue to increase and now account for 63 percent of total music sales, up by 12 percentage points compared to last year. A total of 90 percent of the digital sales come from streamed music services (82 percent in 2011) while 10 percent are from other internet services (18 percent in 2011).
